Foundation Ceremony

M.G.D.S.D. Public School was established in 2001 in the memory of Maharaja Gajanan Dev Singh Devra. The Maharaja of Garh Abu in Rajasthan and the founder of Gohawar village in 1542. The foundation stone of the school building was laid by Param Poojay Saint Mohan Das Ji on the 14th of April, 2001 and the school began functioning from 1st of July 2001. The school is run by Maharaja Gajanan Dev Singh Devra Siksha Sansthan, Gohawar registered under the societies Act of 1860 through a Managing Committee Appointed by it.
The school is situated in a calm and natural surroundings, free from pollution, far from the hustle and bustle of the town. It is the only co-education English medium school preparing students for the Central Board of Secondary Education Examination Delhi in Gohawar Gram Panchayat area.

Rules & Regulation

1. Pupils must be punctual to school and should reach the school premises before the starts of the school assembly, everyday.

2. Pupils must go straight to home after school unless involved in surprised activity.

3. Pupils must be punctual to lessons.

4. Pupils who leave lessons for any reason must be in possession of a note or pass from the teacher .

5. Pupil must be well behaved in the bus and must accept the authority of the driver /escort/conductor.

6. Eating during the lessons is strictly forbidden.

7. Pupils must be in possession of an appropriate school bag, pencil case containing pens, rulers, eraser, pencil sharpener, flat pens etc. and the books required.

8. Students are not allowed to keep objectionable literature, electronic- gadgets in the school premises.

9. Valuable articles may not be brought in to school. The school will not be responsible for the loss of these articles.

10. Any pupil arriving late must have his/her attendance entered in the student planner by the class teacher / staff member appointed.

11. Pupils must wear the school uniform and be neatly dressed at all time during school hours and for school visits / excursions are instructed.

12. Hair must be kept clean and neatly trimmed. No fancy hairstyle gel, hair-dyes etc are permitted girls with long hair must have their hair neatly tied. Only black ribbons, black bands or simple black hair clips are permitted. Personal cleanliness and hygiene must always be observed.

13. Pupils must line up in an orderly manner when entering a room.

14. Pupils will not be allowed to leave school during school hours however in the case of an emergency , written permission from the principal must be sought.

15. If a pupil is absent from the school, a letter of explanation from parent must be submitted. His/her absence must be recorded in the student planner in case of illness, a medical certificate from the registered medical practionar must be submitted.

16. Application for long absences must be submitted in advance to the principal.

17. If the student is unwell, the school staff will take care of the child .no child is allowed to go home without the permission of the principal.

18. Cheating is unacceptable and any pupil caught using unfair means will be debarred from the examination and will not be graded.

19. Any damage done to the school property will be charged.

20. Parents are kindly requested to note that we are not collecting any type of donations or deposits or any type of hidden costs, except for actual expenses.

21. Parents must inform the school authorities about any re-occuring health problems like asthama, epilepsy or any type of allergies. School does not take responsibility of the problems occuring due to student’s illness or sudden sickness.

22. The school organizes educational field trips / excursions in the around india as well as abroad, expenses for the same , shall be borne by the respective student/parent.

23. Students are not allowed to withdraw the transport facility during the whole academic session.

24. If old student is not attend the school within first 6 days in the beginning of new session than him/her name will be struck off.
